Often times, we find ourselves with the dilemma of: is this trash or recycling? Sometimes it can be quite simple and easy to figure out. However, there are some items that tend to stump a lot of us and it can be difficult to know what bin to put it into. That's why us at Delmolino & Sons wanted to take a moment to compile some information from the Recycle Smart MA website that we hope is helpful based on questions we have received.
What Can't Go Into Your Recycling Tote?

Things That Typically ARE Included in Your Recycling Services

Plastic bottles & tubs, plastic jugs (like milk, water, etc.), cans, paper, cardboard and glass jars can go into your recycling. We follow Commingle (or Single-Stream) recycling guidelines -- meaning it all gets put together into one tote and is not bagged. However, anything that held food or liquid should be rinsed well. You don't need to make them spotless, but no food residue should be remaining. Following this habit can help reduce pest attraction & contaminating paper and cardboard.

Recycling Services We Provide
We offer a 96 gallon recycling tote (with no additional fees) as well as routine recycling schedules for our service areas. You can find your town's recycling schedule on our website!
